The Flexible Manufacturing System, Model 5901-30 (Basic) and Model 5901-40 (Advanced), feature Allen-Bradley control components exclusively. These systems allow the addition of the optional Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS Model 5940)
These systems allow students to familiarize themselves with manufacturing applications commonly encountered in modern facilities.
The modular construction of the FMS permits a wide variety of setups allowing students to reproduce the operation of an industrial production line.
